Getting There
Metro: The nearest metro stations are Business Bay (Red Line) and Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall (Red Line). From either station, a short taxi or rideshare ride gets you to City Walk in 5-10 minutes. There is no direct metro stop at City Walk itself.
Taxi/Careem/Uber: This is the most convenient option for most visitors. Tell the driver “City Walk, Coca-Cola Arena” and you will be dropped at the venue entrance. The drop-off zone is directly outside the arena on Al Wasl Road.
Driving and Parking: City Walk has large multi-storey car parks adjacent to the arena. Parking typically costs AED 4-8 per hour. For major events (WWE, big concerts), car parks fill up fast — arrive at least 90 minutes early if driving. The P1 and P2 car parks are the closest to the arena entrance.
Seating Configuration
The arena can be configured in several ways depending on the event:
- Floor Standing: Maximum capacity (~17,000). Used for large concerts. The floor is standing only with no reserved seats. Position depends on when you arrive and how close you want to be to the stage.
- Fully Seated: Used for WWE, basketball, and smaller concerts. Capacity reduced to approximately 13,000-15,000. All seats are allocated.
- End Stage: Stage set up at one end of the arena. Used for most concerts.
- Centre Stage / In-the-Round: Stage in the middle. Used for some tour formats.
The arena has multiple seating tiers: floor level, lower bowl (Sections 100s), upper bowl (Sections 200s), and premium/VIP boxes. Lower bowl seats generally offer the best views for fully-seated shows. For concerts, front floor access provides the most immersive experience but requires early arrival for good positioning.
Typical Events
Coca-Cola Arena hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year:
- Concerts: Major international artists regularly stop here on world tours. Past performers include Coldplay, Backstreet Boys, Celine Dion, BTS, and many more.
- WWE: WWE Crown Jewel and other premium WWE events have been hosted here. The arena is perfectly configured for pro wrestling.
- Esports: Major gaming tournaments including BLAST Premier and other international championships.
- Basketball: NBA preseason and exhibition games.
- Comedy and Shows: Stand-up comedy tours and theatrical productions.
Ticket Buying Tips
Official tickets for Coca-Cola Arena events are typically sold through Platinumlist.net and Virgin Megastore (now Eros STN). For major events, these sell out quickly. If you miss the official sale, secondary market platforms like Viagogo and StubHub often have tickets available — typically at above face value for sold-out shows.
Premium hospitality packages (including VIP lounges) are available for select events and are worth considering for special occasions — they include guaranteed seating, food and beverage, and separate entrances.
Check the arena’s official website for the current event schedule and official ticket links.
